On proposal of the Council of the Institute of Advanced Studies, Dario Braga, Vice Rector delegated for Reasearch of the University of Bologna, will deliver the ISA Medal for Science to Jean Paul Jacqué for his important contribution to European law and in general European integration.

Jean Paul Jacqué, Professor at the University of Strasbourg and at the Collége d'Europe, law expert, is Secretary General of TEPSA since 2010. TEPSA (Trans European Policy Studies Association) is the first transeuropean research network, aims to stimulate discussion on political options for Europe.

Prof. Lucia Serena Rossi says that Prof. Jacqué has always got a clear vision that influenced positively the European institutions. His work has contributed to some of the most important European moments, as Spinell'is project, Charter of fundamental rights of the European Union, European acts.

The ISA Medal for Science is the highest honour awarded by the Institute "in recognition of research contributions characterized by both excellence and influence".

During the event prof. Jacqué will deliver a lectio magistralis.
